March 24th, 2020 Parents and families of John Rex, You may have heard as of March 23, 2020 – State Superintendent of Public Instruction Joy Hofmeister announced she will propose a Continuous Learning Plan to complete the school year without reopening school buildings. School will resume with distance learning, instead of traditional, in-person instruction or extracurricular activities. Here are some updates as of March 17 at 5:00 p.m. Meals: In order to qualify for the Seamless Summer Meals program which allows schools to distribute meals outside of the school day or during school closures, the student population of our district must meet or exceed 50% in free or reduced lunch status.
