Good afternoon, John Rex parents and families, We want to keep you in the loop as developments progress. Here are some updates as of March 20 at 3:00 p.m. As of right now, state mandated closure is still from March 23-April 5 with classes set to resume April 6. Good evening, John Rex parents and families, We want to keep you in the loop as developments progress. Here are some updates as of March 17 at 5:00 p.m. Meals: In order to qualify for the Seamless Summer Meals program which allows schools to distribute meals outside of the school day or during school closures, the student population of our district must meet or exceed 50% in free or reduced lunch status. Unfortunately, our district does not qualify for the Seamless Summer Meals Program because the John Rex student population consists of less than 50% free or reduced lunch status.…

Coronavirus – Update 3.16.20

John Rex parents and families, Following the recommendation set forth by the Oklahoma State Department of Education, John Rex Charter School will close until April 5, 2020. Classes at JRCS are expected to resume Monday, April 6. We understand this change will result in families having to adjust their plans, and we are working with our state department of education and local health agencies to prepare resources to make this time easier.
