How will JRCES parents know if school is cancelled due to severe weather?

JRCES will notify the major news stations about any school cancellations as quickly as a decision is made. Every effort will be made to make the decision as soon as possible so that families can plan accordingly. Notifications will also be pushed to our social media outlets. Our new JRCES mobile app will be available this coming week! Look for information in your child' backpack. New Wednesday Early Dismissal Child Care Program

Beginning Wednesday, August 27, John Rex School will dismiss school early at 2 p.m. every Wednesday. Knowing that all children cannot be picked up at that time, the YMCA is now partnering with the school to provide a NEW childcare program from 2-4 p.m. each Wednesday. This is an additional program offered to parents that only need childcare on Wednesdays. Those parents needing regular childcare throughout the week, Monday – Friday, must register and complete an enrollment form at the Y for their regular program offered from 7-8 a.m. & 4-6 p.m. each school day.
