Open House for Prospective New Families January 19, January 21, and January 23, 2025 An open house will be held on January 19 from 2-4pm, January 21 from 5:30-7:30pm, and January 23 from 5:30-7:30pm. Families will have the opportunity to tour the school campuses with school leaders and teachers. These are come-and-go events. If you have any friends, family, or neighbors interested in John Rex, please let them know about these open houses! Intent to Return for Currently Enrolled Students: December 2, 2024 – January 10, 2025 Currently enrolled students will have access to the “Intent to Return” form on their Wengage account starting on December 2, 2024. The completed form must be submitted through Wengage on or before January 10th or the student’s seat for the upcoming school year will be forfeited. *Residency verification will be required with enrollment registration.
Tier 1 Siblings of Currently Enrolled Students: Dec 2, 2024- January 10, 2025 Current students with legal siblings living in Tier 1 will have access to a registration form on our school website between Dec 2-Jan 10. This form must be completed by January 10th to save a seat for tier 1 siblings if capacity allows. Once we reach capacity we will not offer any additional seats and the sibling will be placed on a priority waiting list.
Registration for New Attendance Zone Residents (Tier 1): December 2, 2024 – January 31, 2025 Residents in our Tier 1 Attendance Zone who currently do not have any students attending John Rex will have access to a registration form on our school website between December 2 -January 31 and are not subject to the lottery. Once we reach capacity we will not offer any additional seats. Families will receive confirmation of acceptance after January 10th.
Tier 2 Siblings of Currently Enrolled Students: December 2, 2024 -February 21, 2025 Current students with legal siblings living in Tier 2, Pre-K through 8th grade wishing to enroll are required to complete a lottery application online at johnrexschool.org beginning December 2nd at 9:00AM. Parents need to select “yes” next to “does the applicant have a brother/sister currently attending this school” when applying. The application window closes at 5:00PM on February 21st. Tier 2 siblings will have priority status over new Tier 2 applicants through the lottery.

Lottery for New Applicants December 2, 2024 -February 21, 2025 The online application period opens for any new student in any grade on December 2nd at 9:00AM. Go to johnrexschool.org to apply. The application window closes at 5:00PM on February 21st. The online lottery will be conducted on February 27th at 4:00PM and results will be communicated via email on February 28th.

Welcome Meeting Registration for Lottery Seat Recipients and New Tier 1 Students March 3 – March 12, 2025 Parents of new applicants who are offered a seat through the lottery and new Tier 1 students will receive an email with a link to sign up for a “Welcome To John Rex” appointment. At this meeting, families will have an opportunity to visit with a staff member, ask questions they have regarding John Rex, and receive enrollment information.
Enrollment for All New and Returning Students March 13- March 31, 2025 All enrollment paperwork must be completed no later than 11:59 pm on March 31, 2025 or your seat will be automatically forfeited.
