We Love OKC

At John Rex, we’re passionate about connecting with other downtown organizations and finding new ways to uplift our neighbors. This is why our theme for the year is We Love OKC, which captures our ongoing commitment to involve students in service opportunities — and have fun while doing it. In September, our middle school students teamed up with Scissortail Park to launch one of the first fishing electives in downtown OKC. 5th through 8th grade students learned about water safety, aquatic life and proper fishing techniques. Mask Policy Update From Mr. Ketchum

Hello Rockets. Starting Monday, Aug. 16,  John Rex Charter School requires students, faculty, staff and visitors to wear masks. Upon reviewing medical experts' advice and rising cases, we're hopeful this safety precaution will keep our Rockets safe and prevent the spread of COVID as practiced last year. If needed, your family may choose to opt-out of the mask requirement for personal, medical, or religious reasons by completing this form.
