John Rex Charter School is currently renovating McAlpine Center to serve our kids. As our diverse student body expands, so does our need for more classrooms and instructional space.

McAlpine Center will host 5th through 8th grade students and will hold arts and music classrooms for all grade levels. By renovating this older building in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, we’re beautifying our neighborhood and creating a fun, conducive learning space to give our students the best education possible.

The total project cost is $1.2 million. Thanks to a federal grant and continued support from the Inasmuch Foundation and the family of Mr. John Rex, we are only $400,000 away from our goal.

We’re asking YOU to help support this restoration project and provide a state-of-the-art educational space for Oklahoma City kids. We need help from our neighbors, partners and donors to make it happen.
