John Rex Charter School (JRCS) announced Aaron Kellert will be its elementary principal for the upcoming school year — the school’s 11th year since its creation as part of the Oklahoma City MAPS for Kids initiative. Kellert is a proven, experienced educator who currently leads Nichols Hills Elementary.   Kellert joins JRCS after working in Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS) for more than a decade. John Rex Charter School (JRCS) has named Charmaine Johnson as the new principal of John Rex Middle School in downtown OKC. As an experienced education professional, Johnson will oversee the growth and learning of students in grades five through eight and support the school’s robust learning curriculum.  Johnson previously worked as a principal for Oklahoma City Public Schools, where she managed daily operations, development and implementation for 600 students and more than 70 staff members.
