John Rex Charter School Named Top Workplace
John Rex Charter School (JRCS) was recently named one of Oklahoma’s top workplaces in a list put out by The Oklahoman. The school was ranked the second best place to work among small organizations.
Selection was based on employee feedback through a survey measuring 132 companies’ leadership, career opportunities, compensation, benefits and work environment.
“John Rex teachers and staff are dedicated to instilling a lifelong love of learning and discovery in our students,” said John Rex Head of School and Superintendent Joe Pierce. “This recognition is a testament to their hard work, enthusiasm and selfless service.”
Sixth grade teacher, Clayton Myers, who has worked at John Rex for two years, says he is grateful for the opportunity to work at JRCS.
“I’ve immensely enjoyed my time teaching at John Rex,” said Myers. “Between the collaboration of teachers, our talented students and invested community partners, my work couldn’t be more fulfilling.”
